Hi I’m Sam Watford.
Best is the standard. That’s what I learned working for Coach Swinney as part of Clemson Football’s Strength and Conditioning staff. Now that I’m a coach, I hold my players to that same standard.
At Clemson, I learned from the best of the best - a National Championship coaching staff and team. At Wilson Hall, I was a four-sport athlete whose favorite sport was whatever was in season. Since the day I could walk, sports have been an integral part of my life. And yet there was a time I wanted to quit football. But it was my coach who loved me and believed in my potential to become a champion. Now it’s my turn to push for excellence in all we do.
Football, baseball, basketball, or strength and conditioning, we will strive to be the best we can be.
